This site is operated personally by Sefa Ekici. For anything concerning the protection of personal data you can write to ssefaekici@gmail.com.

Scope of this policy

sefaekici.com is a statically generated site: pages are built ahead of time and served as they are. There are no accounts, logins, carts or profiles; the site keeps no account belonging to you.

Fonts, icons and social sharing images are served from our own domain. When you open a page your browser makes no request to any third-party server; that happens only when you press a video play button or submit the contact form.

Data processed

No personal data is knowingly collected through the site. The limited data that is nevertheless processed:

• Server logs: the hosting provider temporarily records the IP address, browser information and requested address as a technical necessity. Our access to these records is at aggregate level.
• Language preference: the language you choose is stored in a cookie in your browser. It is not sent to a server and is not linked to your identity.
• When you email us: the name and email address you share are used only to continue that correspondence.

Contact form

The form on the contact page runs through a third-party form service called Formspree. When you submit it, the name, email address, subject and message you entered are passed to that service and reach us as an email. The data is used only to answer your message; it is not used for marketing and is not shared with anyone else.

The legal basis for processing is the explicit consent you give with the checkbox when submitting. Nothing is transmitted anywhere before you submit — merely opening the page sends no request to Formspree. Formspree's servers are located abroad.

If you prefer not to use the form, you can email the same address directly; in that case no third party is involved.

Measurement and analytics

No analytics tool is currently in use on the site: your visit is not counted, tracked or profiled.

If a measurement tool is introduced later, it will run only with your explicit consent. No measurement script is loaded before consent; Google Consent Mode signals are sent as denied by default, and this page will be updated.

Advertising

No advertising is currently served on the site. Google AdSense ads are planned for blog pages only; once enabled the following will apply and this section will be updated.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at https://adssettings.google.com.
• Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are asked separately for advertising cookie consent through Google's certified consent management tool.

International transfers

The site is published through a hosting provider whose servers are located abroad, so server logs may be processed outside Turkey. The same applies to the service behind the contact form and to any measurement or advertising services enabled later.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of Turkish data protection law (KVKK No. 6698) you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties it is transferred to at home or abroad, to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, to request erasure or destruction, and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

This text is updated whenever the site's behaviour changes, and the date above is refreshed. It is always updated before measurement or advertising is enabled.
